This page describes how Valencis Trade processes the personal data collected through the equipment enquiry form available on this site.

2. Data We Collect
When you fill in the form, we collect only the data you enter yourself:
- Type of request (equipment or materials)
- For each item in your request: category, brand, model, year and quantity (equipment), or material type, unit and quantity (materials), or the free-text description you provide where the item is not listed in our catalogue
- Country of delivery
- Currency and indicative budget (converted to EUR for internal processing)
- Desired timeframe
- Name / company
- Email address
- Phone / WhatsApp number
- Interface language selected
- Date and time of your consent
- The reference assigned to your request, shown to you once it is sent
Anything you have already typed is kept on your own device so that nothing is lost if you are interrupted: it stays there and only reaches us if you send the form.
3. Purpose
To assess your request and put you in contact with Valencis Trade in connection with the brokerage of construction equipment and materials.
4. Legal Basis
The legitimate interest of Valencis Trade in handling the commercial enquiries you voluntarily submit through this form (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR).
5. Recipients
Your data is used strictly within Valencis Trade. It is never sold, transferred or shared with third parties, with the exception of the technical processors required to operate this form (data storage and hosting), which are themselves bound to comply with the GDPR.
6. Retention Period
Your data is retained for 3 years from the date of last contact where the enquiry does not lead to a commercial relationship, or for the duration of the commercial relationship where you become a client — unless you request earlier deletion.
7. International Transfers
The technical processors we use (Airtable for data storage, Vercel for hosting) are based in the United States. Transfers of data to these providers are governed by the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, incorporated into their respective data processing agreements (DPAs).
8. Your Rights
Under the GDPR, you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict and object to the processing of your personal data. To exercise these rights, contact hans@valencis.trade.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the CNIL, the French data protection authority (www.cnil.fr).
9. Security
Data is stored on secure infrastructure (Airtable), with access restricted to the data controller alone.
